I have over 18 years combined experience as a print designer and website designer. My philosophy is to deliver quality design work that fits any budget with rates that are competitive and negotiable.
I have over 18 years experience as a designer and I work with lots of different clients and a lot of different budgets too! My philosophy is to deliver quality design work that fits any budget with rates that are competitive and negotiable. I like my clients and consider myself very fortunate because I have maintained an exceptionally loyal client base for the last ten years.
Website design is what I love doing most! I enjoy the flexibility and creativity of making websites that are individually tailored to each client. Depending on client needs and budgets, I design and build websites using WordPress, concrete5 or Weebly for small to medium sized companies and individuals. I especially enjoy creating websites for small independent companies and individuals who cannot afford a big agency.
I've spent the last 18 years working closely with the association management profession in Florida creating all kinds of print collateral for conferences and trade shows. My print design work includes brochures, magazines, trade show display units (small, big or massive), big directories, ads, flyers, postcards and promotional products. I also work with private companies from travel agencies to fitness instructors.
Mobile app and web graphics, HTML emails.
Getting my start in print design at Libin & Associates in Tallahassee, Florida, I learned the print design trade from the ground up and I have been adding web skills along the way.
In 2000 I moved back to England and I was recruited as the New Media Director at Welland Valley Newspapers. At the time the chain had no websites to deliver its news. Working in collaboration with the Peterborough Media Department, my media team got six news websites up and running within the first year.
I went back to the US in October 2001 and picked up where I left off, returning to work at Libin & Associates as a web and print designer. In 2004 I took the plunge and started my own business. It was a great decision and I've never looked back. This has allowed me a lot of flexibility and creativity, as well as the opportunity to explore the world while continuing to do the job I love.
In 2009 I then moved to Portland, Oregon, an amazing city and a great experience. I spent three years there and I became involved with the local WordPress, concrete5 and web design communities.
In 2012 I returned to Europe and spent two years travelling whilst continuing to run my business. In 2014 I decided to settle in Nottingham, UK and am focusing on building up a UK client base. Recent projects include a website for a local artist and a first aid training company.
